Entry Level Machine Operators/All shifts (1st shift: 6am-2pm, 2nd Shift: 2pm-10pm & 3rd Shift: 10pm-6am, Sunday-Thursday)
The Machine Operator will safety produce good quality parts per manufacturing process sheets.
Primary Responsibilities:
Read & understand instructions for parts they are operating
Weigh or prepare materials, place in mold/fixture, actuate machine, remove parts, blow off tool or fixture per instructions
Inspect parts per instructions; looking for molding issues such as shorts, gas, blister or chips
Stay in cycle by keeping machine running; prepare materials & deflasing parts per instructions while the press or machine is completing its cycle
Maintain 95% of standard rate
Pack completed parts in proper container or car; Ensure production labels are completed & placed on or in every container
Responsible for operating machinery in a safe manner
Qualifications (To be considered for this opportunity, you must possess most of the following):
Must be able to: add, subtract, multiply, & divide for completing production cards
Must be able to read & understand written instructions
Must be able to work and communicate effectively with co-workers
Physical Qualifications
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally
Must be able to stand for 8 hours and be able to ascend/descend stairs to machine platform
Must be able to move as required from workstation to workstation in a cell
Must be able to visually inspect parts and utilize gages as required
